BAYONNE, NJ - Two men face several drugs and weapons related charges following their Thursday arrest by members of the Bayonne Police Department.
According to Lt. Eric Amato the men, identified as Victor Molina, 31, Jersey City, and Michael W. Williams, 30, Bayonne, were taken into custody at approximately 1:18 p.m. after police reported finding illegal drugs, a loaded .38 caliber handgun, and money they believe was from a narcotics transaction.
While making the arrest it was determined that Molina, who was the passenger at the time, has been barred from possessing a weapon, causing him to face an additional charge.
A check of the firearm, police say, revealed that it had not been reported stolen.
Both men were taken to Hudson County Jail.
