BAYONNE, NJ - A 40-year-old Bayonne man was arrested Wednesday after members of the Bayonne Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at his 33rd Street home at approximately 5:56 a.m.
According to a report Jason J. Patel, who was allegedly intoxicated at the time, fired a starter pistol inside the residence. A subsequent search by police also led to the recovery of a large capacity magazine for a .22 caliber rifle, additional ammunition, a starter pistol, and a “substantial amount of marijuana.”
Patel was placed under arrest without further incident.
