BAYONNE, NJ - The Bayonne Fire Department held their annual 9/11 ceremony in front of Fire Headquarters at City Hall Wednesday.

Fire Chief Keith Weaver was joined by many members of the Department along with Mayor Jimmy Davis, Public Safety Director Robert Kubert, Councilmen Juan Perez and Sal Gullace, Police Chief Rob Geisler, and Bayonne Public Schools Superintendent John Neisz in paying solemn tribute to the many first responders that perished in the attacks on New York’s World Trade Center.

At the end of their ceremony, an additional flag-raising took place, as Bayonne resident Jim Mock donated a flag that was presented to him by the Port Authority after working at Ground Zero for 18 months.
