BAYONNE, NJ - A woman cleaning her home Saturday morning was confronted by a male stranger who entered through an unlocked front door.
According to Lt. Eric Amato members of the Bayonne Police Department were called to the scene and were able to apprehend the man at approximately 7:51 a.m.
Upon arrival, the 55-year-old victim reported that the male, later identified as Erick Acosta, 33, Hoboken, fled the home when she confronted him. Police found him “incoherent and unsteady on his feet” at the intersection of 51st Street and Avenue E and placed him under arrest.
During an initial search police also found a glass vile of what was later identified as PCP adding an additional charge to the Criminal Trespass offense.
