BAYONNE, NJ - A 23-year-old Bayonne man was arrested Monday in connection to a string of burglaries.
According Lt. Eric Amato, Darius Rivera has been charged with receiving stolen property, three counts of burglary, and theft.
The alleged crime spree started on November 11 when Rivera is said to have been in possession of vehicle stolen from Jersey City. Later that day, the report continued, Rivera broke in to Pizzalino’s pizzeria by breaking the front door. Nothing was stolen in this incident, police said.
A week later, police say, Rivera broke into East Coast Catering through the front door and removed the cash register and the money contained in it. Just over two hour later, in the final crime, Rivera is alleged to have broken in KW Realty, 536 Broadway, through the rear door. Nothing was stolen in this final incident.
