BAYONNE, NJ - A 19-year-old Jersey City man was arrested in the early hours of Monday after members of the Bayonne Police Department observed him walk into a driveway of a residence on West 54th Street and enter an unlocked minivan.

According to Captain Eric Amato, Rashadee C. Boxley then proceed to rummage through the vehicle. The suspect was confronted by police as he exited the minivan and arrested for burglary. An on-scene investigation, Amato said, led to the recovery of loose change he allegedly removed from the vehicle.

Police also learned that the suspect had allegedly entered a second vehicle on Avenue B. The owner of that Subaru Forester reported that while the contents had been “strewn about the interior” nothing had been removed.
