BAYONNE, NJ  - A woman in her forties parked her vehicle on the Bayonne Bridge Tuesday before jumping to her death, Lenis Rodrigues, spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, told TAPinto Bayonne. The event took place at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Public Safety units from the New York Police and Fire Departments recovered her body and brought the victim to Staten Island. Her identity is being withheld until pending notification of her family.
