BAYONNE, NJ -- Five players from the Bayonne High School girls soccer team have been named to the Hudson County Interscholastic Athletic League's All-Red Division team for 2019.
Mariana Valencia, Adrianna Morales, Tamia Phillips, Jamila Fogoe and Madison Arroyo have all been selected to the team, which was chosen by a vote of the county's coaches.
Valencia, a junior forward, finished the season with 11 goals and two assists. Morales, a sophomore midfielder, contributed a pair of assists.
Phillips, a junior back who scored one goal, and Fogoe, a senior back, were the backbone of the Bees' defense in front of senior goalkeeper Arroyo, who came up with 184 saves and posted nine shutouts this past season.
