BAYONNE, NJ -- The Bayonne girls basketball team, playing at home for the first time since before Christmas, remained undefeated with a 71-23 victory over Memorial of West New York on Friday.

Sophomore guard Eniya Scott collected 15 points, eight assists and seven steals, and senior forward Makoye Diawara finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and three steals for the Bees (7-0), who raced out to a 30-3 lead after one quarter.

Mary Lavin tossed in 13 points, and Jada Phillips and Sam Galano each finished with seven points and five rebounds for Bayonne.
