BAYONNE, NJ -- The Bayonne High School ice hockey team opened its season with a 4-2 victory over Paramus Catholic at home Wednesday afternoon.

Chris Moreton scored 11:46 into the second period to give Bayonne a 3-2 lead. Roberto Bernardo scored in the third quarter to give the Bees a 4-2 lead.

Anthony O'Brien scored the first two goals for Bayonne, in the first and second periods. Paramus Catholic rallied to tie the game with two goals in a 14-second span. O'Brien had assists on each of Bayonne's other two goals.

Shawn Agosto faced 24 shots and saved 22 of them for Bayonne.
