A.J. Perri Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, LLC has been recognized by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) as a 2019 “Companies That Care” award recipient. CIANJ praised the A.J. Perri Cares program, an outreach that has helped over a dozen New Jersey military/veterans and their families, providing them with air conditioning, heating and indoor air quality system upgrades.
Celebrating its sixth year, the Companies That Care award salutes the generosity of New Jersey businesses that demonstrate meaningful philanthropy that is impacting the communities they serve. Awards were presented at a reception held at Nanina’s in the Park on March 19. In addition, recipient companies have been featured in the March edition of Commerce Magazine, the event’s co-sponsor.
“We are humbled by the recognition,” notes Kevin Perri, president of A.J. Perri and son of company founder Albert Perri, who is a military veteran. “The A.J. Perri Cares program is a deeply meaningful mission to our family and employees. It is our honor and privilege to give back to those who selflessly served their country, so HVAC and plumbing issues are one less thing they need to worry about. They are all deserving individuals.”
Since the program started in May 2017, the Tinton Falls-based plumbing and HVAC company’s A.J. Perri Cares program has provided and installed air conditioners, HVAC systems, smart-home technology, and air filtration systems for around a dozen veterans and their families.
