BELMAR NJ — Beach Music Studios will be bringing the party to Beach Haus Brewery on Sunday, May 6 for its annual Scholarship Spring Fundraiser.

The family event, to be held from noon to 3 p.m., will feature performances by the Danny White Band and Friends, and the Beach Music Rock Band — talented musicians age 8 through 18 who are students of the Belmar-based music studio.

“Beach Haus is an amazing location for our young musicians to showcase their talent, as well as support music education at the Jersey Shore,” said musician Danny White, owner of Beach Music Studios.

Now in its fourth year, Beach Music’s Scholarship Program provides eligible students with one full year of lessons and a musical instrument free of charge.

“We want to give students that first step they may need toward helping them realize their dreams of becoming a musician,” White said. “The support we have received for the scholarship program from the community has been overwhelming, and each year, we build on that success.”

Steve Tichenor, events manager at Beach Haus, is pleased to have Beach Music Studios back for the third year to the brewery’s windowed second-floor taproom, which offers panoramic views of Belmar’s shopping district and even a glimpse of the nearby Belmar Marina from its outdoor deck.

“Danny has been doing this event at Beach Haus since we opened and it always brings out a great local crowd,” Tichenor said. “Beach Music Studios is right here next door to us, so we’re always happy to help out a neighbor.”

Open to people of all ages, the fundraiser will feature a host of giveaways and raffles with prizes donated by area businesses. Tickets are priced at $25 for persons age 21 and over, and include half-priced pints of newly brewed beers of many varieties.  There is no charge for persons age 17 and under.

Beach Haus Brewery is located at 801 Main Street, occupying the entire corner of Eighth Avenue and Main Street.

Tickets are available at Beach Music Studios, 808 Belmar Plaza, Belmar, or can be purchased on the day of the event. For more information, call Beach Music Studios at 732-280-1181 or
