BELMAR, NJ — It will be Belmar’s last rumble of the season today when dozens of classic and vintage cars roll into the downtown district for Cruise Night.
For this summer, the popular event has moved from Main Street to the nearby Belmar Plaza, located between Eighth and 10th Avenue, where cars as well as motorcycles will be showcased in its expansive parking from 6 to 9 p.m. on August 22.
While a DJ will be spinning classic oldies from the plaza, many downtown merchants and dining establishments will be joining in the festivities.
“Cruise Nights are one of the special events we provide for great family fun,”said Sal Marchese, president of the Belmar Business Partnership (BBP), the event’s longtime sponsor. So come and stroll down memory lane, and enjoy some great Belmar fun food in and around the plaza.”
Rain date is Wednesday, August 28. Registration and admission is free.
For more information or to register a vehicle, contact BBP at 732-894-9022 or firstname.lastname@example.org. A sign-up table will also be set up on the night of the show.
