BELMAR, NJ — A total of 71 students at Belmar Elementary School achieved honor roll status for the second marking period— 24 sixth-graders, 24 seventh-graders and 23 eighth-graders.

The tally includes these 32 students who made the high honor roll by earning a grade of 93 or higher in all subjects, including related arts.

Sixth grade: Claudia Barry, Jillian Byrne, Juliana De Leon-M, Landon Herbert, Marlo Iglay, Niki Li, Grace McKenna, Talon Miller, Corey Solomon, Kaiden Trogu, Mya Tyler and Edwin Velazquez.

Seventh grade: Winter Archer, Daren Chen, Abdi Clara Aparicio, Claire Doherty, Daniela Panetta, Edras Vargas Huox, John Wheeler and Ronnie Whille.

Eighth grade: Matthew Donovan, Niky Li, Ashley Lopez Torres, Heloisa Minharro, Christina Misnik, Scarlett Morton, Ryan Orlowski, John Preston, Raquel Reyes-Cruz, Bradford Ringer, Michelle Ruiz and Alexa Zuniga Rojas.

Another 39 students placed on the honor roll — earning a grade of between 85 and 92 in all subjects including related arts:

Sixth grade: Gabriela Caballero-Quiroz, Kimberly Diaz-Perez, Dominik Digironimo, Christian Garduza-Vasquez, Jose Gonzalez-Beltran, Milagros Guerrero, Dahana Guzman Cruz, John McManus, Christopher Mendoza Roman, Sarah Orlowski, Yaritza Reyes-Lopez and Yamilet Urbano-Suarez.

Seventh grade: Kimora Benton, Emily Black, Sydnie Chek, Nadia Cook, Bailey Czekalski, Gabriel Figueroa Guzman, Stephanie Garcia Avila, Alexis Gonzalez Perez, Rebecca Hingher, Jackeline Minchala-Ramirez, Katherine Minchala-Ramirez, Emma Preston, Lola Sharp, Kira Tolomanosi, Hope Wilton and William Youngblood.

Eighth grade: Ismael Alejandrez Alvarado, John Connolly, Helen Greco, Renee Herbert, Karen Cruz-Hernandez, Matthew Hope, Kayla Martin, Pamela Olmedo, Joan Ortiz, Josephina Trotta and Patrick Woodrow.
