BELMAR/LAKE COMO, NJ — The annual Triathlon/Duathlon/Aquabike for Autism to be held today, October 6,will bring road closures to Lake Como and Belmar.

Expected to bring hundreds of competitors and onlookers to the Belmar beachfront, the event will begin at 8 a.m., prompting the closure of Ocean Avenue from Fifth Avenue to North Boulevard, and all of North Boulevard, including Main Street at the western end of the lake.

Residents are asked to be mindful of the street closings while the runners and bicyclists are on the course and cooperate with public safety officials and race volunteers who will be stationed along the route. The streets will reopen as soon as the competitors pass.
