ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Miss Central Jersey Beaches Jade Glab last night captured the talent award in the first night of preliminaries in the 2019 Miss New Jersey competition.
The 19-year-old Belmar resident won for her opera performance of “O Mio Babbino Caro” at Resorts Casino Hotel's Star Theater, where 28 candidates are competing to advance to the 2020 Miss America Pageant. To view Glab’s performance, click here.
The second round of preliminaries will continue tonight, June 13, and the winner to be crowned on Saturday night, June 15.
Glab recently graduated from Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, and is looking to transfer to Rutgers University where she plans to pursue a degree in finance and accounting. She also is a graduate of Belmar Elementary School and Red Bank Regional High School.
She is the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Glab, a longtime teacher at Belmar Elementary School.
