BELMAR, NJ — Belmar’s recreation gym will be jumping with fun every Saturday night with the return of Belmar Youth Club, beginning on November 16.

The club is open to third- through eighth-graders, who will have the opportunity to spend time with their friends, while participating in free play and organized games in a structured, safe and chaperoned environment. The gym is located at the Belmar Municipal Building, 601 Main Street.

The four-month program is open to children who live in Belmar or Lake Como, Belmar Elementary School and St. Rose Grammar School students. Saturday sessions are held at two different times, based on age:

■   For third- to fifth-graders from 5 to 7 p.m.

■   For sixth- to eighth-graders from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Cost is $25 per children. For online registration, click here. Sign-ups will also be accepted on the first night of the program.

While the program runs through March 28, there will be no sessions on November 30, December 21, January 25, February 15 and February 29.
