NEW JERSEY— Just like most things about 2020, Black Friday looks very different. Gone are the marathon shopping hours starting on Thanksgiving and running into Black Friday.

Many large retailers like Macy's, J.C. Penney, Best Buy and Target were closed for Thanksgiving, but are pushing their early Black Friday deals online instead. On Friday, retailers are ready to move into the holiday shopping season in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and the rising number of cases across the nation. Many shoppers enjoy heading out into the fray on Black Friday to snag deals on the gifts on their holiday list.

Hours of local malls may vary, but here is a list of major New Jersey retailers and their shopping hours for Black Friday 2020.
