BELMAR, NJ — Belmar’s downtown district will abound today with special deals, discounts and door prizes during the Belmar Business Partnership’s second annual Sidewalk Sale.

The daylong event on August 24 begins at 11 a.m., featuring nearly 20 participating shops, eateries and businesses. In addition to the shopping fun, attendees will have the chance to win door prizes, including a Weber gas grill valued at $800 from event co-sponsor Taylor Hardware. In addition, BBP will be giving away three $100 gift cards to each winner’s Belmar business or restaurant of choice.

“Based on last year, this year's Sidewalk Sale should be even better. We have quite a few new businesses in Belmar and hopefully, this sale will put a spotlight on them,” said Pat Tecza, co-chair of the BBP’s promotions committee and owner of Nostalgic Nonsense Vintage Clothing, 903 Main Street.
