BELMAR, NJ — Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a visit to Serenity of the Sea Too in Belmar, where there will be treasures that will tickle the fancy of any leprechaun. Here’s what will be popping on March 17 at its Artisan Marketplace, located at 1004 Main Street.

Angela Lim of Small Blessings High Style Boutique is getting beachy with her new mermaid collection of necklaces and bracelets — many with etched messages of the sand and surf. A true believer in wearing love, she features a wide assortment of jewelry and other glistening pieces that offer inspiration and encouragement.

Have an idea for a gift with a special message for someone in your life? Jolene Miller from Sassy Space will take on the creative challenge. She makes every handcrafted item she creates her own — whether it’s a wall hanging or a framed piece of art.

Lauren Marcinkowski of Lady L’s Apothecary blends a medley of organic botanicals, herbs and oils to create a line of body products and soy candles. In addition, her handcrafted dream-catchers are uniquely designed, made with “love and good energy” through reiki.

Shannon Morris of Thirty-One Gifts specializes in bags, including crossbody or shoulder bags of your choice, as well as the build-your-own Studio Thirty-One Collection. While you grab a bag or two, make sure to get a couple no-smudge LipSense products to throw in them.

Featuring a different roster of local vendors and artists “popping up” every weekend, Serenity by the Sea Too’s Pop Up Artisan MarketPlace is your go-to destination for unique items for everyone on your gift list — whether it’s for a holiday, birthday, anniversary or “just because.”

Beginning at 10 a.m., local vendors showcase their merchandise, which spans the spectrum — from unique handcrafted items and clothing lines, to tasty treats and personal care products — as well as vintage finds and other tantalizing treasures.

Eggs Recalled for Possible Salmonella Contamination Sold in New Jersey

WASHINGTON, DC — Some 207 million eggs from a farm in Hyde County, N.C., have been recalled due to possible salmonella contamination. One Confirmed Case of E. Coli in Monmouth County Linked to Chopped Romaine Lettuce

TRENTON, NJ — Chopped romaine lettuce grown in Arizona is likely the source of an E. coli outbreak that has sickened at least seven New Jersey residents, including one in Monmouth County, according to federal and state health officials.

No specific grower, supplier, distributor or brand has been blamed for the outbreak, which has affected 35 people in 11 states, according to the U.S.
