WESTFIELD, NJ — Fraidy Reiss, founder of the Westfield-based organization Unchained at Last, shares her story of escape from the abusive marriage that her family forced her into, her efforts to help other women escape and her mission to end forced and child marriage in New Jersey and throughout the world.

Reiss shares that Unchained at Last is planning a “chain in” today, June 1 to protest N.J. Gov. Chris Christie's conditional veto of the bill she helped to write that would bar individuals under age 18 from marrying or entering a civil union.
