Lake Como Councilwoman Puts on ‘Teacher for the Day’ Hat at Belmar Elementary School

BELMAR, NJ — Lake Como Borough Councilwoman Hawley Scull recently participated in Belmar Elementary School’s “Teacher for the Day” program.

She “filled in” for second-grade teacher Karen Gianforte, whose students greeted her with open arms (see photo above).

“They got to ask me questions about what it’s like to be a councilwoman, and I helped them work on a lesson on being an ice cream truck owner,” Scull said. “It was a great experience.”
