LAKE COMO, NJ — Lake Como is premiering a new line of custom-branded merchandise for the cooler days ahead — and just in time for Lake Como Day on Saturday, September 29.
Long-sleeve T-shirts, sweatshirts, fleece jackets and blankets, as well as two perennial favorites — twill caps and tote bags — are adorned with the borough’s logo that features a stylish rendering of its namesake lake.
Prices range from $15 for a cap to $35 for a men’s or women’s zippered fleece jacket or hooded sweatshirt. And items are available in women’s sizes and men’s sizes from XS to 4XL, and there is a neon blue hooded zippered sweatshirt in youth sizes from XS to XL.
It’s the second apparel sale sponsored by the borough’s Tourism Commission as a way to promote the Lake Como and support its tourism efforts.
Proceeds generated from the sale would be earmarked for such tourism activities as Lake Como Day, slated this year for Saturday, September 29, and the Holiday Decorating Contest, as well as to launch new ways to bring visitors into this seashore town.
In addition, the tourism commission will have a limited supply of items for sale at Lake Como Day on Saturday, September 29.
