LAKE COMO, NJ — After picking out that perfect pumpkin or two, get out those carving tools. It’s time for Lake Como’s latest photo contest.
Submit your best jack-o’-lantern snapshot by today — Saturday, October 31 — and the entry that gets the most “likes” on the borough’s Facebook page will win a prize from a local establishment.
While only one photo per person is permitted, there is no limit to the number of carved pumpkins that can be in it. The contest is open to Lake Como residents only, and photos must be taken in the borough.
Email your entry to Councilwoman Hawley Scull at email@example.com. Please include your full name and Lake Como address, and indicate whether you give permission to have your photo posted on the Lake Como website or used for borough events.
It’s the third photo contest sponsored this year by the Lake Como Tourism Commission to bring some positivity to social media during the coronavirus crisis — and especially since Lake Como Day was canceled this year.
