BELMAR, NJ — Merri-Makers recently welcomed some 125 guests to its Grand Opening Bridal Show at the new Taylor Pavilion, giving them an up-close look at the impressive beachfront venue where wedding dreams are coming true.

Upon their arrival to the pavilion, guests were met with the picturesque ocean and lakefront views from its location on the Belmar boardwalk. Once inside, they entered a main ballroom with full windows and an open-air deck that boasts a breath-taking panoramic view of the Fifth Avenue beach and Atlantic Ocean.

From there, they were given the opportunity to experience what it would be like to have a wedding at the Taylor Pavilion. And for many of those in attendance — from brides- and grooms-to-be to bridal party and family members — they undoubtedly enjoyed the full-filled evening.

“This was our first bridal show at the brand-new Taylor Pavilion, where we have the privilege of providing our custom catering services. And based on the terrific response we received from our guests, this venue is certain to become one of the most popular wedding spots on the Jersey Shore,” said Gianna Verdoni, sales consultant and event manager at Merri-Makers Caterers.

With the banquet room arranged with large round tables for easy conversation, Merri-Makers offered menu samples served up by its highly trained wait staff, while light refreshments were provided on the expansive deck where guests enjoyed the cool ocean breezes and watched a spectacular summer sunset.

In addition to a live performance by DJs from Elite Entertainment, nearly 20 wedding professionals — from photographers and florists to hair stylists and personal care specialists — displayed their offerings at the American Bridal Show Co. event.

“What our bridal show guests quickly discovered is that this beautiful oceanfront venue offers so many amenities to make for a picture-perfect wedding,” Verdoni said. “For example, you can have your ceremony on the beach or in the charming gazebo at Silver Lake, enjoy your cocktail hour on the outdoor deck or have a bonfire on the beach for an ideal ending to your special day. And we will be there along every step of the way to make sure you begin your life together in the most incredibly romantic way. ”
