FREEHOLD, NJ — In the wake of the recent terror attack in Manchester, England, the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity by calling 911.
During this upcoming Memorial Day weekend, the sheriff’s office upon request will step up patrols at parades, sporting events and graduations, where K-9 teams will be present. Sheriff’s Marine 1 will also be patrolling the waterways, conducting homeland security checks and ensuring safe boating.
“As always, our Law Enforcement Division will be working closely with local law enforcement agencies to take whatever steps are required to ensure the safety and security of the people who live and work in Monmouth County, as well as those who may be visiting.” said Sheriff Shaun Golden, adding “If you see something, say something.”
