BELMAR, NJ — If your hair has become dull and lifeless from this past summer’s trips to the beach and pool, it’s time for a keratin refresher at Salon Marsal.

“You’ll be in and out in an hour, and your hair will look great again,” said Sal Marchese, owner of the Belmar salon located at 708 10th Avenue. “It also makes for a nice holiday gift for a friend or family member.”

Since hair is made up of the protein keratin, it can be lost when hair is exposed to the elements of summer, including salt water and chlorinated water, as well as from blow-drying and straightening. The lack of keratin can cause hair to tangle, break and frizz because it becomes so overporous.

With keratin treatment, damaged hair is repaired, resulting in more shine, a smoother and silkier look, and easier styling. The $99 treatment offered at Salon Marsal is for individuals whose hair has already been treated with keratin.

To make an appointment for the keratin refresher treatment, contact Salon Marsal at 732-280-1107 or visit its website. You can also leave a message on its Facebook page.
