A trip to Belmar would not be complete without bringing home something seashore-inspired, such as the treasures of Angela Lim of Small Blessings High Style Boutique. Her jewelry line features mermaids, seashells, starfish and other symbols of the sea — many etched with messages of the surf and sand.

Bob Michaels of Whimsical Woodworks handcrafts usable art made of cedar and copper. From birdhouses and mantles to custom lattice work and planters, Michaels makes quality and durability his priorities and will custom design pieces for your garden or patio.

Patricia Gentles of Damsels in Defense offers a product line that empowers women to protect themselves in any circumstance. Her security on-the-go items include stun guns, pepper sprays and shielded wallets to guard against identity theft.

Alesha McCall of Paparazzi is always changing it up with new pieces added regularly to her line of $5 jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. So come for a visit and bring your shopping bag.

Featuring a different roster of local vendors and artists “popping up” every weekend, Serenity by the Sea Too’s Pop Up Artisan MarketPlace is your go-to destination for unique items for everyone on your gift list — whether it’s for a holiday, birthday, anniversary or “just because.”

Beginning at 10 a.m., local vendors showcase their merchandise, which spans the spectrum — from unique handcrafted items and clothing lines, to tasty treats and personal care products — as well as vintage finds and other tantalizing treasures.
