BELMAR, NJ — Serenity by the Sea Too is celebrating Independence Day with a five-day "pop-up" extravaganza. The popular Belmar galleria at 1004 Main Street will host its first-ever Summer “Sip & Shop” Soiree beginning today, June 30 through July 4.

Showcasing the creations, crafts and unique merchandise of a total of eight vendors, the event will begin at 10 a.m. each day, culminating with an exclusive evening of shopping, wine-tasting and light refreshments from 4 to 8:30 p.m. During the ‘Sip & Shop’ part of each day, a portion of sales will benefit Belmar First Aid Squad.

“As Belmar enters this exciting summer season, we are pleased to present this first in a series of our Summer Soiree events,” said Serenity by the Sea Too owner Sarah Taylor Izzo. “Stop by for some great shopping and vendors — all for a great cause. And while you’re here, enjoy a glass of wine, tasty nibbles and good conversation.”

Here are the participating vendors, and when they will be “popping” during the five-day event.

Heather Gillar of Green Umbrella Crafts specializes in candles, most made from 100 percent soy or a soy/beeswax blend and filled inside of a tea cup. Most of her tea cups are upcycled to give them a second life. Saturday, June 30.

Keva Johnson of B'aMuse Jewels believes that you don't have to spend your entire paycheck on jewelry; you can be thrifty and still be a fashionista. With show-stopping pieces ranging between $5 and $25, she offers a chic, stylish line for all occasions and all seasons. Saturday, June 30.

Diadra Marsch is with Pink Zebra, which offers the latest in home fragrance and decor. The line’s “grown in the USA” soy is used to create cleaner burning products. What’s more, its Sprinkles can be combined to create personal scents. Saturday, June 30.

Garden State Parkway tokens may be a thing of the past, but not for Danielle Hoffman of Token Wearables, aka the Token Lady. She makes accessories, gifts and wearable items with GSP tokens, as well as custom pieces with area arcade and subway tokens, among other collectible coins. Saturday, June 30.

Gia Andre with Woman To Women1 offers selectively chosen luxury apparel and other items — including many one-of-a-kind pieces — from around the world. Hand-beaded silk tops, kaftans and tunics from women in India, handmade shoes from Cape Town, South Africa, and linen pieces from Italy and Paris are among the offerings. She also has a sizzling selection of light and breezy summer wear. Saturday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 4.

Noreen Franco of J&N Soto Designs will showcase her extensive collection of one-of-a-kind home décor items, including decoupage bottles and vases. She gives old, used objects new life by crafting them into so many different intricately detailed pieces, including a new line featuring sealife. Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4.

Angela Lim of Small Blessings High Style Boutique offers a jewelry line bedazzling with mermaids, seashells, starfish and other symbols of the sea — many etched with messages of the surf and sand — as well as her love-inspired items of beauty. Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4.

Bob Michaels of Whimsical Woodworks handcrafts usable art made from cedar and copper. From birdhouses and mantles to custom lattice work and planters, Michaels makes quality and durability his priorities and will custom design pieces for your garden or patio. Wednesday, July 4.
