BELMAR, NJ — Serenity by the Sea Too is bringing on the start of Belmar’s prime season with its “pop-up” extravaganza this Memorial Day weekend, continuing today, May 26.

Here’s a look at the crafters, artists and vendors who will be featured at the Artisan Marketplace at 1004 Main Street, Belmar — beginning at 10 a.m. each day.

Mixed media artist Carole Gernett of The Collagebox combines collage and vintage finds with original artwork to create a line of uniquely styled items, looking to nature’s beauty for her inspiration. Saturday, May 26.

Michele Larcheveque of Henna Creations by Michele specializes in henna and glitter body art for any age or occasion. Using all-natural henna paste on her designs, she can add sparkle with glitter or rhinestones, and she also creates henna-inspired glitter tattoos. Saturday, May 26.

Denise Marie Designs’ offerings are trendy and fashionable — a line of one-of-a-kind jewelry that features pendants with hand-set crystals, as well as giftware made from the highest-quality materials. Saturday, May 26.

Joeanne Valentine of Love Valentine stands out because of the personal one-on-one connection she has with her customers. It's a spark she creates that brings designer jewelry, apparel and hand-poured soy blend candles to life. Saturday, May 26.

Bob Michaels of Whimsical Woodworks handcrafts usable art made of cedar and copper. From birdhouses and mantles to custom lattice work and planters, Michaels makes quality and durability his priorities and will custom design pieces for your garden or patio. Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28.

Sprinkling some sweetness, spice and zest into custom-blended fragrances, Sandi Grace of Pink Zebra can create anyone’s own personal scent. She specializes in wax melts for warmers and candles, a liquid diffuser line and accent pieces for the home. Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28.

A trip to Belmar would not be complete without bringing home something seashore-inspired, such as the treasures of Angela Lim of Small Blessings High Style Boutique. Her jewelry line features mermaids, seashells, starfish and other symbols of the sea — many etched with messages of the surf and sand. Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28.

Paparazzi’sTia Baranosky brings her collection of “gotta have” bling — jewelry and accessories all priced at $5. Making people looking like a million without breaking the bank is what she does best. Sunday, May 27.

Discover the Lipsense world of shades and textures with Amanda Montagne. She will have a full array of this long-lasting liquid lip product, which is waterproof, smearproof and doesn’t dry out the lips. Sunday, May 27.

Patricia Gentles of Damsels in Defense offers a product line that empowers women to protect themselves in any circumstance. Her security on-the-go items include stun guns, pepper sprays and shielded wallets to guard against identity theft. Monday, May 28.

Alesha McCall of Paparazzi is always changing it up with new pieces added regularly to her line of $5 jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. So come for a visit and bring your shopping bag. Monday, May 28.

Featuring a different roster of local vendors and artists “popping up” every weekend, Serenity by the Sea Too’s Pop Up Artisan MarketPlace is your go-to destination for unique items for everyone on your gift list — whether it’s for a holiday, birthday, anniversary or “just because.”

Beginning at 10 a.m., local vendors showcase their merchandise, which spans the spectrum — from unique handcrafted items and clothing lines, to tasty treats and personal care products — as well as vintage finds and other tantalizing treasures.
