BELMAR, NJ — Jersey Shore Restaurant Week is now in full swing, featuring six Belmar eateries serving up new dishes and tried-and-true favorites for the event, which runs through Sunday, November 12.

Brandl, Jersey Shore BBQ, La Dolce Vita, La Terrazza Cucina Rustica & Bar, Mr. Shrimp and The Mahogany Room at Bar Anticipation are among nearly 90 participating restaurants (see below for addresses and links).

Now in its eighth year, Jersey Shore Restaurant Week offers diners the opportunity to enjoy three-course, prix-fixe meals at participating restaurants. For $22.17 or $32.17, they can choose an appetizer, entrée and dessert from a special menu for lunch, dinner or both.

“For restaurateurs, it is an opportunity to boost their business at traditionally slow times of the year and to ‘show off’ their talents to people who haven’t enjoyed the restaurant yet, ” said JSRW chairman Jim Flynn, creator of the biannual dining extravaganza, held in April and November.

“The goal for diners is to experience restaurants they may not have heard about or been to yet and to be able to do that at a great price,” said Flynn, who serves at CEO of BestWeekends.

Here are the links to the Belmar restaurants, including its special menu for the week.

For a complete list of participating restaurants with their menus, visit the Jersey Shore Restaurant Week website.
