FREEHOLD, NJ — Monmouth County will present a special roundtable discussion on ticks and mosquitoes — and how to guard against the diseases they spread — will be held on Wednesday, June 5, featuring a panel of environmental and health professionals.

Hosted by the Monmouth Council Environmental Commission, the presentation is designed to inform the general public on ticks, mosquitoes and other pests prevalent in the area, including their behavior and habitat, the risks of exposure, and strategies for protection against such diseases as West Nile virus and Lyme disease.
