BELMAR, NJ — Whether you’re a meat or seafood lover, Waves on Main has added two delectable specialty entrees to the menu.
A veal chop filled with homemade breadcrumb, spinach and sausage stuffing, and lobster tail topped with a savory crabmeat and a breadcrumb dressing are both on the menu, widening even more its made-to-order dinner selections by chef Lou Farese.
“Lou has been busy in the kitchen putting his culinary creativity to work,” said Kathy Farese, who owns the landmark restaurant at 1000 Main Street along with her husband. “And what he has come up — in terms of the fusion of flavors found in both dishes — does not disappoint.”
As with all Waves on Main’s entrees, Kathy said that Lou uses only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, and he prepares each meal to order. “We tell our customers that when they give us the privilege of cooking for them, we want to make it an entire dining experience.”
There also is something new on the dessert menu — heavenly selections from Deescakes of Freehold. “We are extremely delighted to be teaming up with Seannee Harris, owner of Deescakes, to provide us with her homemade pies, cakes, tarts and, of course, her highly acclaimed cheesecake,” said Kathy Farese.
“The response to her desserts has been phenomenal, and more and more of our customers are making sure they have a slice of something sweet and sumptuous after dinner,” she said.
Located at 1000 Main Street on the corner of 10th Avenue, Waves on Main is open Tuesday through Friday for lunch and dinner, and Saturday and Sunday, for brunch, lunch and dinner.
