BELMAR, NJ — Grilled steak or homemade crab cakes. Whatever your preference, the best of both can be found on Waves on Main’s menu.
The Belmar restaurant, located at 1000 Main Street, is quickly becoming the go-to dining destination for not only these two favorite entrees, but for a full selection of From the Sea and Steak House dishes. And chef Lou Farese is always putting his culinary signature on all made-to-order cuisine.
“With this being our first summer in Belmar, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone — new guests and old friends — to our restaurant,” said Kathy Farese, who along with husband Lou were the owners of Kathy and Lou’s Kitchen in Manasquan. “We want everyone to feel like family, and there’s nothing better than good food enjoyed in a relaxing and accommodating atmosphere.”
The restaurant is also expanding its hours for the summer and will be open Tuesday through Friday for lunch and dinner, and Saturday and Sunday, for brunch, lunch and dinner.
This Sunday, June 4, Lou suggests his Waves Benedict — poached eggs, Canadian bacon and spinach with a house-made Hollandaise sauce and a side waffle.
