BELMAR, NJ — Waves on Main is spicing up its weekend menu as live entertainment continues on Saturday, June 24.

“There’s no better way to welcome the summer by enjoying a classically prepared meal, while listening to some of the area’s most-talented musicians, who we will be featuring on a regular basis,” said owner Kathy Farese. “They will have you singing, dancing and feeling the music. We are pleased to have them join us.”

On Saturday, singer-songwriter-musician Billy J. Brown will take the stage for the first time at Waves on Main, playing a mix of blues and jazz music — both standards and originals — that has earned him quite a following in the area for making every performance a memorable one.

With the entertainment beginning at 7 p.m., there’s plenty of time to choose from Waves of Main’s full menu of contemporary coastal American cuisine. Chef and owner Lou Farese has added several new offerings to his wide selection of steak and seafood entrees.

For those who like the best of both, his New York strip steak is grilled to your liking, and paired with stuffed shrimp and roasted vegetables. Another dish, drunken clams, boasts a dozen of clams smothered in a specially prepared white sauce with even more minced clams, served over pasta.
