Belmar Police Department reported the following arrests occurred in Belmar and Lake Como from February 1, 2018 to February 27, 2018.

BELMAR

Sonya Alfano, 23, of Wall was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after her arrest on February 1 on Route 35 by Police Officer Peter Speakman.

Robert Ramos, 31, of Philadelphia was arrested at Belmar Plaza on February 6 by Police Officer Anthony Steneck, charged with possession with intent and use of hypodermic needles.

Todd Ewart, 36, of Neptune was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after his arrest on February 10 on 10th Avenue by Police Officer Brian Poppert.

Adam Wheeler, 33, of Wall was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after his arrest on February 10 on Main Street by Police Officer Timothy Yee.

Richard Guiddy, 48, of Wall was arrested on Main Street on February 12 by Police Officer Michael Allen, charged with contempt and harassment.

Edgar Leal, 22, of New Brunswick was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after his arrest on February 14 on Main Street by Sgt. Todd Lee.

Kraig Davis, 48, of Wilmington, Del., was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after his arrest on February 17 on Route 35 by Police Officer Patrick McGill.

Nazon Perry Jr., 28, of Neptune Township was arrested on Main Street on February 19 by Sgt. Gregory Desserich on an outstanding warrant.

David Lukens, 46, of Belmar was charged with disorderly conduct after his February 21 arrest on Briarwood Avenue by Police Officer Timothy Yee.

Prince Young, 21, of Asbury Park was arrested on 15th Avenue on February 21 by Detectives John Mahony and Michael Yee, charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a recreation zone, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of heroin and crack cocaine, tampering with evidence and CDS in a motor vehicle.

Daryl Pelzer, 30, of Farmingdale was arrested on 15th Avenue on February 21 by Detectives John Mahony and Michael Yee, charged with eluding, conspiracy to sell a controlled dangerous substance and CDS in a motor vehicle.

Kristen Zielinski, 41, of Manalapan was arrested on L Street on February 25 by Police Officer Brian Poppert, charged with driving while under the influence.

Justin Lally, 37 of Wall was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after his arrest on February 26 on Main Street by Police Officer Timothy Yee.

Tyrone Banks, 59, of Belmar, was arrested on 12th Avenue on February 27 by Police Officer Michael Allen, charged with disorderly conduct.

LAKE COMO

Ashley Karwasinski, 29, of Wall was arrested on 18th Avenue on February 6 by Police Officer Corey Whitman on an outstanding warrant.

Justine Ward, 38, of Lake Como was charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant after her arrest on February 7 on Main Street by Police Officer Timothy Yee.

Richard Morgan, 48, of Lake Como was arrested on 17th Avenue on February 19 by Police Officer Patrick McGill, charged with driving while under the influence, reckless driving, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident.

Jesse Strong, 41, of Lake Como was arrested on Main Street on February 24 by Police Officer Brian Poppert, charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

TRENTON, NJ — Chopped romaine lettuce grown in Arizona is likely the source of an E. coli outbreak that has sickened at least seven New Jersey residents, including one in Monmouth County, according to federal and state health officials.
