Belmar Community Makerspace: Knitting 101

Knitting 101 will focus on knitting, with techniques and best practices taught and shared among participants. The workshop has three sessions on September 26, October 10 and October 26.

Cost is $30 for all three sessions.  After the paid classes, there will be an open and free weekly knitting, sewing and quilting workshop every Thursday at the Makerspace from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Makerspace has the space and layout for patrons to lay out swaths of fabric for pattern cutting or working on drapes, blankets, etc.

If knitting is not for you, but you want to work on your own sewing project while being with others with similar passions and interests, this workshop is the place to be.

No experience necessary, and there are no prerequisites, so you can jump in at any time. To register, click here.
