Belmar Community Makerspace: Stop Motion Animation Workshop

Explore the world of stop motion animation in which inanimate objects are made to move. Participants will first look at examples from Star Wars, the Wallace & Gromit movies, and a few Tim Burton movies.

Then using paper cutout, small objects, LEGO characters and themselves, they will create their own fun animations. Belmar-based artist Louise Krasniewicz is leading the workshop.

Adults must accompany children younger than 12. All materials will be supplied. Cost is $10 per person.

The Belmar Community Makerspace is a program of the Belmar Public Library.

The Fall Maker Program is open to all residents in the Jersey Shore region.
