Belmar Recreation Open Gym

Open gym featuring a host of activities for third- to fifth-graders is held every Friday afternoon at the Belmar recreation gym.

Children get the opportunity to play basketball, dodgeball, indoor soccer, kickball and other sports from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the gym, located at the Belmar Municipal Building, 601 Main Street.

Held weekly through February 27, the sessions are open to children who live in Belmar and Lake Como, and St. Rose Grammar School students. Following a monthlong break in March, open gym will resume on April 3 and will continue every Friday through June 5.
