Pink for a Purpose: A Benefit for Lin's Linens

“Pink for a Purpose” will offcer an evening of renewal for the mind, body and spirit to raise funds for Lin’s Linens, a volunteer group that creates “personal healing sanctuaries” in the homes of women undergoing cancer treatment or in recovery. In this specific case, proceeds will be used to design a peaceful place to heal for a local resident who has been battling cancer for some time.

To make way for the gathering, Sweet Tease Cafe and Lynette's Healing Touch will open the door between their adjoining facilities to create a charming gathering place for guests. In addition to serving an array of Sweet Tease’s sweet and savory menu favorites and offering chair massages by Lynette’s Healing Touch, music will be provided by Doubting Thomas and special guests, and door prizes will highlight the event.

In addition, Island Heights-based Lin’s Linens will offer a special presentation on how it is supporting and nurturing women with cancer by creating personal healing sanctuaries that promotes a positive mind, body, and spirit connection crucial to the healing process.

Tickets, which are $50 each, can be purchased at Sweet Tease or Lynette’s Healing Touch, 604 Main Street, Belmar.
