Sewing Classes for Children Age 6-12 (six sessions)

Register your children now for sewing classes with It's SEW Crafty. They will learn the basics of the sewing machine, while skill-building through sewing art and crafts. Machines and materials will be supplied.

Class sessions run for for six consecutive Mondays — from September 25 through October 30 from 4 to 5:15 p.m. The program is taught by fiber artist and professional children sewing teacher Crafty Katie, who has 17 years of teaching experience with children beginning at age 3 through to adults.

Children are encouraged to bring their own machines to learn on. (No toy machines, please). Every student must wear close-toed shoes to every class; no flip-flops, but Crocs or Uggs are permitted.

Drop-off only at Serenity By The Sea Too, 1004 Main Street, directly across from Surf Taco between 10th and 11th Avenues, Belmar.

Cost is $150 per person (age 6 to 12) and includes machines and materials.
