The Mama Mare Foundation's De-Feet Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk

The Mama Mare Foundation's eighth annual De-Feet Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk will benefit breast cancer patients and their families.

During the rain-or-shine event, participants will take a scenic run or walk along the 5K course that stretches through Lake Como, Belmar and Spring Lake.

Registration on race day is $35 and includes the entry fee, T-shirt, race packet and a post-race celebration at Bar A. Check-in on race day begins at 7:30 a.m. with the race kicking off at 9 a.m. Pets  have to sit out this timed race, but jogging strollers are welcome. A free fun run for kids will take place at 10:30 a.m.

The post-race celebration includes a barbeque, DJ, award ceremony and a special survivor/memorial dedication. Family and friends not running or walking in the race can purchase barbecue tickets on the day of the race.
