LAKE COMO, NJ — Lake Como, glistening in the late afternoon sun and then shimmering under evening fireworks, was front and center for an event that brings together neighbors each year in this small community that shares its name.

The 24th annual Lake Como Day attracted hundreds throughout the four-hour event on September 28 to the lake’s usually tranquil banks, which came alive with a host of attractions for adults and children.
