LAKE COMO, NJ — Welsh Farms at 1811 Main Street sold one of three winning tickets — each worth nearly $81,000 — in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing on Friday, July 19.

By matching all five numbers — 09, 16, 22, 27 and 33 — the winners will split the game’s total $242,568 jackpot.The other two winning tickets were sold at Hightstown Shell, 1 Lake Drive, Hightstown, and One Stop Food Mart, 32 Church Road, Maple Shade.

“The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold,” said New Jersey Acting Executive Director James Carey. “Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”

As for the Lake Como lottery ticketholder, no one has yet visited Welsh Farms to announce their win, according to Vipul Shah, owner of the convenience store and deli at the corner of Main Street and 19th Avenue.

Carey announced that there were 346,859 tickets purchased for the drawing.
