WALL, NJ — New Jersey Natural Gas has temporarily closed its Monmouth County walk-in payment centers at 1415 Wyckoff Road in Wall and at 633 Lake Avenue Asbury Park, as part of the precautionary health and safety measures taken in response to the novel coronavirus.

Customers who pay their bills at these centers are encouraged to use other payment options, including:

  • Making an online payment at www.njng.com.
  • Calling 800-221-0051.
  • Mailing a payment to: New Jersey Natural Gas Co., P.O. Box 11743, Newark, NJ 07101-4743
  • Placing a payment in the secure drop boxes at a payment center.

While customers are strongly encouraged to use the above payment methods, customers may want to check whether Western Union locations that offer Quick Collect are still available to accept cash payments.

In light of changing circumstances, the payment centers will remain closed to the public until further notice.

The Wall-based company also has waived its late payment fees for at least the next 30 days — through April 15. Last week, NJNG announced that it has temporarily suspended service disconnections — a policy that will remain in place until further notice.
