BELMAR, NJ — Getting a healthy start to the new year is the focus of the 2020 Belmar Wellness Fair on Sunday, January 12 at Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Avenue.
The free event is being co-sponsored by Belmar Cares, a support group for breast cancer survivors, and Erin Dillon, owner of Whole Happy, a Belmar-based meal preparation and delivery company, who is spearheading the effort.
“January is inarguably the month when wellness is prioritized for many, and we hope to bring together the local industry pioneers under one roof for a day or nourishment, joyful movement and healing,” said Dillon in a Facebook post.
To be held from noon to 4 p.m., the fair will feature fitness and yoga sessions for adults and children, shoulder massages, displays by vendors showcasing healthy food and personal care products, and a host of health and wellness professionals.
“All are welcome — whether you’re paleo, vegan or don’t know what either even mean. Bring your grandma, bring your baby, bring yourself as you are because we can’t wait to see you there, Dillon said.
