The deadline to sign up for youth recreation soccer is Sunday, August 4.
BELMAR, NJ — Belmar Recreation is offering a new noncompetitive soccer program for 3- to 4-year-olds.
The program gives younger children the opportunity to learn the game before they are eligible to participate in Belmar, Avon-by-the-Sea and Lake Como (BALC) recreation soccer — a competitive league that is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade,
As part of the BALC program, the older children first participate in clinics in August, where they will practice the basics of soccer before being placed into teams for team practices and games, which start in September.
Cost is $45 per person for the BALC league and $25 for the 3- to 4-year-old division. To register through CommunityPass, click here or visit the Belmar Recreation Gymnasium at 601 Main Street during business hours to pay by cash or check.
