OCEAN GROVE, NJ — Calling upon your angels for inspiration, guidance and assistance is the focus of this two special events at Serenity by the Sea in Ocean Grove this weekend, while a third will explore shamanic healing
Certified master angel practitioner Cyndi Skola will host a Vision Board with Angelic Guidance Workshop at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 25 and will follow up on Sunday, January 26, with angel card readings from 1 to 5 p.m.
“When you ask the angels for help, you create a strong connection of co-creation,” said Skola, a certified IIII reiki master and teacher with 10 years of experience as an angel practitioner.
The vision board workshop will begin with guided meditation and “some gentle soul exploration,” she explained. “Meditative coloring and drawing will be done as we tune in to what our soul might have to say about our dreams and goals.”
After the background is completed, a variety of materials, visualizations and choice of angels will be explored to complete the angelic vision board, Skola said, adding that participants will receive quick angel readings that correlates with their vision board’s dreams and goals.
Donations of magazines to be used in the workshop for clipping of images and words will be accepted.
The cost is $30 and includes all supplies. Call 973-699-1760 to register.
Skola will then return on Sunday to Serenity by the Sea to offer angel card readings, which she describes as being “positive, focused on personal growth, healing and empowerment.”
As an angel intuitive, she connects individuals with their angels so they can receive their guidance.
A public school teacher for more than 25 years, Skola received her bachelor’s degree in education and psychology, and also is a wedding officiant.
The cost is $22 for a 20-minute angel card reading. Call 973-699-1760 to reserve your spot.
Also on Sunday at 6 p.m., Diane Todd will talk about shamanism, the different shamanic "worlds'' and take participants on a journey to meet their power animal. "You can gain insights and receive healing in this process," said Todd, a certified reiki master/teacher who also practices craniosacral therapy, integrated energy therapy, reconnective healing, among other techniques.
Cost is $15. Call 973-699-1760 to register.
