Seasonal Badge Sales for Everyone Start on Saturday, May 16
BELMAR, NJ — Senior beach badges can be purchased today, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Avenue. A photo ID showing proof of age — 65 years or older — is required.
Cost is $30 per badge. Cash for the exact amount or a check will be accepted. Social distancing must be practiced and wearing a mask is encouraged during pickup and purchase times.
Senior badges will also be available when in-person sales open to the public for the entire summer, beginning on May 16 at Taylor Pavilion. In addition, $30 seasonal badges for disabled individuals with proper ID will go on sale at this time. Click here for an application and details on identification requirements.
Seasonal beach badges cost $70. Daily badges starting Memorial Day weekend are priced at $9 and children age 15 and under are free.
Badges are required for admission to Belmar’s beaches from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on weekends only from Memorial Day until the full season starts — and they are required seven days a week — from Monday, June 15 through Labor Day.
