FREEHOLD, NJ — Monmouth County residents can find out the latest news and information about the coronavirus —on the municipal, county and state levels of government — from a new central webpage created by County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon.
In an effort to help residents stay informed during this unprecedented time, Hanlon said she saw the urgency to disseminate the most accurate information in the quickest way possible.
“Knowledge is power, and making sure all county residents are provided with correct information will go a long way in avoiding panic and confusion,” she said. “This webpage will be easily accessible so residents will be informed of what they can expect in the days ahead, relating to government services.”
The COVID-19 Government Operations webpage provides notifications relating to closures, curfews and updates about government operations due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation.
“We will continue to update the webpage as circumstances change and as more information becomes available," Hanlon said.
